Future of water transport in Poland and in the EU

Water is an invaluable good and the source of life, and the ways of using it are remarkably diverse. Any activities related to its management should be conducted in a sustainable manner, ensuring the satisfaction of the demand for water for all kinds of purposes. Water transport, as one of those purposes, creates endless possibilities for the development of SME sector businesses – possibilities still untapped.

The risk of water resources management and the role of water transport in the economy are just some of the topics which will be covered by experts during the “Future of water transport in Poland and in the EU” panel discussion. The experts will also discuss the state of waterways in Poland and Europe and securing drinking water supply to the region in the next 5, 10 and 20 years. Participants in the panel will have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with examples of good foreign practices in water management and transport.

The session will be held as a part of the V European Congress of SME on the 14th of October 2015 at 14.00 to 16.00 at the International Congress Center in Katowice. Participation in the Congress is free of charge. We invite you to register at https://rejestracja.ekmsp.eu/system/en/login.
