Future Entrepreneurs

Future_Entrepreneurs_logo„Future Entrepreneurs” is a special cycle of students’ meetings with inspiring people from the world of business and science. It’s a part of the VI European Congress of Small and Medium Size Enterprises in Katowice. The formula of these meetings is 50/50 (half time of lecture and half time for a discussion with a public); it will create an opportunity to exchange opinions between invited guests and participants. Meetings will take place on second and third day of the Congress.

The project is dedicated to ambitious students and graduates, interested in entrepreneurship and self-development. Thanks to its flexible formula, students will have the opportunity of a free exchange of views and discussions with invited guests. In a special way we want to emphasize the cooperation of business and scientific communities Visegrad Group (V4) – the topic will be one of the most important pillars of this year’s congressional debate. Therefore we invited to participate in the Future Entrepreneurs ambitious and committed young people from Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

13:00 AM – American Dream vs. American Reality  – panel discussion

The United States and the famous “American Dream”. This amazing and powerful country in the consciousness of young people is a place of fulfilled dreams, rapid achievement of goals, propaganda of success, the ethos of the winners. Imagination recalls images of New York, Silicon Valley, Apple software and the great careers of people like Steve Jobs or Donald Trump.

How things really are? Do young Americans live better life than us? Is their homeland giving them more opportunities? Or perhaps the “American Dream” can really meet anywhere? What lessons and opportunities can give us a stay in the US, and what maybe we should not incorporate into our environment?

 – Kamil Kania, Project Manager at Platform of Communication and Mobile Solutions,

Przemysław Grzywa, Vicepresident YES European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs,

Dawid Pacha, Customer Development Leader, Netizens Software House.

Panel Leader: Prof. UE  Artur Świerczek PhD, University of Economics in Katowice.
