Small companies as the driver behind creative economy!

For some time now, an increasing success of countries which noticed the development potential of culture and creative industries becomes apparent. This market has a huge growth tendency, because it relies on constant demand creation and satisfying new consumer needs. Entrepreneurship in Poland currently requires seeking new ways of achieving success. One of them is undoubtedly the creative economy, i.e., an economy thatgoesbeyond fixed patterns and thus boosts innovation.

We encourage entrepreneurs to dynamise the development of their business! During the ”Small companies as the driver behind creative economy!” workshop, the experts from the Upper Silesian Academy of Entrepreneurship in Chorzów will share the experiences of the Silesian SME Forums in connecting business, culture and self-governance. Another subject of the workshop will be investments in creative industries and types of support that can be expected from business environment institutions and local self-government.

The session will be held as a part of the V European Congress of SME on the 14th of October 2015 at 11.30 to 13.30 at the International Congress Center in Katowice. Participation in the Congress is free of charge.
