The development of transport infrastructure in border regions – vital to the development of trade relations between Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Country’s borders do not have to hinder SME development. The economic potential of entrepreneurship in border regions and how to make an effective use of it when developing our business will be the subject of discussion between experts during the „The Czech Republic – Poland – Slovakia – the development of transport infrastructure– a new prospect for SME” panel.

The improvement of infrastrucute is an opportunity to increase the trade turnover between countries. The lack of convenient transport links between the cities of Katowice – Cieszyn (and ČeskýTěšín) – Ostrava – Bielsko – Žilina – Kraków, and further Prague and Bratislava, results in the hampering of great economic potential.

„Our countries always had an above-average cooperation, which is certainly why it is easier for us to talk with one another.”

Tomasz Malatinsky, former Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic

The session will be held as a part of the V European Congress of SME on the 14th of October 2015 at 14.00 to 16.00 at the International Congress Center in Katowice. Participation in the Congress is free of charge.
