TTIP versus young entrepreneurs

The TTIP (short for Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership), i.e., a free-trade agreement between the EU and the USA, will, in its scope, include also the operations of young entrepreneurs. The planned regulations raise hopes in them, but also cause many fears.

The scope and state of the negotiations and the opportunities and threats that the agreement brings about for young entrepreneurs are just some of the issues that will beexplored by experts from Poland, Europe and the United States during a round table discussion dedicated to the TTIP. Among the participants in the meeting will be Young Entrepreneur organisations associated under YES for Europe – European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs from the USA, representatives of the European Commission and economic think tanks. The meeting will be opened by Mr Ryszard Schnepf, Ambassador of Poland in Washington, D.C.. The goal of the discussion is to arrive at a commonposition on the TTIP from the point of view of young entrepreneurs from Europe and the USA. This declaration will then be submitted to the representatives of the European Commission and the United States Department of State.

The event will be held as a part of the V European Congress of SME on the 12th of October 2015 at 15.00 to 17.30 at the International Congress Center in Katowice. Participation in the discussion and the Congress is free of charge. We invite you to register at
