During the past several years the vocational education image has deteriorated. Therefore the imbalance between demand and supply of specific qualifications and abilities in the labour market has increased. In the meantime dynamic development of SME sector businesses is not possible without help of qualified employees. European countries experiences prove that creating and developing vocational education may improve companies growth, sustaining economic development and reducing unemployment.
In this year’s Congress vocational education will be the topic of the discussion panel “Vocational means better – formal and non-formal vocational education as a condition for SME development”. During the panel the experts will discuss what model is suitable for SME sector employers and entrepreneurs. Successful models fromGermanyandAustriawill be our reference point and inspiration. Entrepreneurs will learn also about how to support their employees to improve professional qualifications with the use of Funds such as Erasmus+, POWER, Polish Development Investments or National Training Fund.
The session will be held as a part of the V European Congress of Small and Medium-Size Enterprises on 13.10.2015 at 11.30-13.30 inthe International Congress Centre in Katowice. The participation in the session as well as in the Congress is free of charge. We encourage to register on: https://rejestracja.ekmsp.eu/system/en/login/.
