The European Congress of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises is not only about inspiring debates or workshops, but also about many exceptional accompanying events that enrich the Congress program. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the topics of individual events:
VI Congress of Business Practitioners
The meeting, organized by the Humanitas Academy in Sosnowiec, is the official event announcing the ECSME. It will take place on 25 September, and the special guest of this year's edition will be Przemysław Pająk (founder and editor-in-chief of Spider's Web), who will deliver a speech entitled. ‘AI vs Humanity. What are our chances?’.
CYBERŚLĄSKIE – cyber security in local government
This is an event to share experiences on the role and responsibilities of local governments in building a cyber shield for the services they provide to local communities. In the era of digitization of public services and the requirements of the NIS2 Directive and the National Cyber Security System Act, the protection of data processed by local governments is becoming extremely important. The conference will take place on 25 October at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
Business Expo Fair
During this year's ECSME, there will be no shortage of exhibition space. On almost three thousand square meters, companies, local governments and institutions supporting entrepreneurship will present their services. In previous years, hundreds of exhibitors have found that the Business Expo is the ideal place to exchange experience, establish new business contacts and increase the visibility of their products and services. It is also an excellent opportunity to get people interested in your offer who might otherwise miss it.

Think eco! Forum
An annual conference dedicated to the topic of eco. It creates a space for discussion between experts representing different sectors of business and science. In a roundtable format, topics such as the European Green Deal, the Recovery Fund and the green economy are discussed.

American Day 2024
This is the sixth edition of American Day, during which participants will have the opportunity to meet representatives of the US diplomatic service, experts from chambers of commerce and business, and business leaders who have been successful on the US market. It is also an opportunity to participate in workshops, panel discussions and networking sessions that will help to better understand the specifics of cooperation with partners from overseas.
